Towards a Black-Box Security Evaluation Framework

Injection of faults has been studied in various research works since last decades. Several hardware targets have with respect to the efficiency fault injections. In this paper we address security evaluation embedded systems constrained environments called black-box analyses. This is not considered by standards as they require conducting analysis most relaxed conditions, often white-box which focuses on specific modules provided that finer details are available. However, a much larger view focusing all system potential target. It closer real world attacker. allows measuring impact attack scenarios, and therefore thinking building adequate protections.
